What Participants Say:
ESP Senior Lecturer, MSSES (Russia) – the University of Manchester (UK)
This conference in MISIS has been a remarkable event in teaching English in the Russian higher education context. The talks, workshops, poster presentations and discussions have added so much to my understanding of how the quality of teaching English can be enhanced in the Russian university context. I have talked to the teachers and researchers from different countries and parts of Russia and I am delighted to admit that the conference`s organisers have done a great job by bringing together a great amount of dedicated to their work English teaching enthusiasts, who contributes a lot to making teaching English more effective. I look forward to the next year conference.
“In ESP/EAP today, we face an ever-growing list of challenges. I firmly believe that the best way to overcome these challenges, and to push the boundaries of what we can achieve inside the classroom and beyond, is by building connections with like-minded professionals, sharing ideas and supporting each other. That’s why events like the ESP/EAP/EMI conference at MISIS are so vitally important. The organisers did a fantastic job of bringing together so many experts and thought-leaders from Russia and other countries, and making the whole event run so smoothly. I was inspired by the professionalism, dedication and creativity of all the teachers I met. It was a pleasure to meet so many great people, and I hope to come back soon.”
